Jan 17, 2013Hey Dustin,
Jan 23, 2013I’m totally with ya when it comes to the importance of conferences. New Media Expo was the first one I traveled to and it was so, so worth it. I told the story of you springing for breakfast on my blog recap of the event and tons of people were surprised at the generosity that you and Pat showed to everyone. I’m glad you got a ton out of it too, man!
By the way, the part of this episode where you switch to the live recording in the podcasting booth turned out well. The ambiance of the people chatting in the background was cool and gave a good flavor of some of the energy in the air.
P.S. The picture at the top of the show notes is flattering. The top of my head is cut off and people can’t see how massively bald I am. Not intentional I’m sure, but nice work by the photographer. 🙂
@joeyjoejoe Yea, I think the background effect gave it a neat effect. And podcasting live had a few challenges of its own, but that’s what makes it fun.
Jan 24, 2013Believe me, that picture is the best one I had. The seven that the 80 year old man took were of the table only and not one person was in the picture 🙂
