Announcements

WordPress 4.0 Beta is now available to download and begin testing.

Some cool new things to look at in the beta are:

  • Media Library has a grid view
  • Plugin installation screen has been refreshed
  • Select a language as you install WordPress
  • The editor toolbar stays in one place as you scroll
  • More emphasis in the Customizer

Is there a plugin for that?

With more than 50,000 plugins in the WordPress repository, it’s hard to find the perfect one. Each week, I will highlight an interesting plugin form the repository.

This week, I share about a great plugin called iThemes Sync. This plugin allows you to manage the updates for all of your WordPress sites in one dashboard. Plus if you are a BackupBuddy user, you can initiate a backup of your site, right from the dashboard.

They also have an iOS app, which makes it extremely simple to keep your sites updated on the go.
