New Media Expo Breakfast Meetup
I’m in Las Vegas for New Media Expo 2014…and I’d love to meet up with you!
And this year, I’m partnering with Jared Easley from Starve the Doubts to have the Your Website Engineer / Starve the Doubts Community Meetup
If you’ll be in town, whether you’re attending New Media Expo or not, come join us and others on Saturday, January 4th at 7am (I know it’s early, but remember, that’s like 10am EST time) before the opening Keynote Presentation for a delicious breakfast at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino’s world-famous, award-winning Ports o’ Call Buffet!
No car? No problem. Gold Coast Hotel is right across the street from the Rio Hotel.
Great food, great drinks (like OJ and coffee) and awesome company – what else can you ask for? 🙂 Plus you know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right?
Here’s a quick FAQ:
How much is the buffet?
Breakfast normally costs $6.99, but let me work my magic and see what I can do. I’ll let you know what the price will be before we go in.
Where do we meet exactly?
Plan to meet right outside the buffet area at 7:00am. If you’re lost, just ask a Casino worker and they’ll provide you directions. We’ll congragate and then go in together maybe 15 minutes later to give stragglers time to arrive. Look for a group of people and/or my yellow Helmet Logo, that I’ll be wearing. 🙂
Do I need a ticket?
Yes! Limited spots are available, so please Register Today! Jared and I are excited to meet you!
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! Don’t go crazy and invite a stadium’s worth of people, but an extra 2 or 3 people max would be okay. Make sure they register as well.
How many people are going to attend the meetup?
I’m not sure exactly, but I don’t care if it’s 1 other person (you) or 50, or more – I’m going to enjoy meeting everyone no matter what! 50 is the max though.
Can we talk business during the buffet?
As long as you don’t talk with your mouth full, we can talk about whatever you want! I may be circling around the table(s) to chat with everyone, but I’m sure you’ll meet people there you can strike up a conversation with too. It’s gonna be awesome!
