      After spending hours this weekend trying to figure out why most of my installed Plugin’s weren’t actually being activated  I stumbled into the reason. I have the Thesis Basic Theme installed – the architecture of Thesis Basic Theme is not compatible with a vast number of WordPress Plugin’s. 

      However, if I upgraded to the Thesis Professional all the WordPress Plugin’s will work. 

      After spending a couple of days  setting up  my WordPress install and configure my theme features my take way is this – Diythemes.com the producer of Thesis WordPress Themes have Hijacked the WordPress platform ecosystem. 

      My take way is simple – using the Thesis Basic Theme cripples much of WordPress’s core functionality. 

      Dustin, I accept this situation and not pursuing this any further.
